| Truth be told there is a lot of derivative young groups out their that think their elementary approach to an incredibly complex music style is passable to the generally public. It's in rare moments when i see a young group with a lot of promise maybe not trying to re-invent anything but doing some things very right and clearly having some fun doing so. Orlando Thillet and Court Ferguson's duo "Cheek's" from Denver (by way of Florida) seem to be on the right track with what is their first track. It's not over the top and has a good grasp of melody while it winds in and out of passages. Id say these guys are ones to be on the lookout for and hopefully they dont lose precious steam. Side note...I feel that a lot of people care about a jetpack. Cheeks |
